Panoramica: Checkin, Manual Update, Checkout.

Start from the landing page over "Checkin".
First connect to an agent. If no agend is configured choose "List Ports". This will create the connection to an agent.
Choose "Configure Repositories" on the desired agent.
Choose the desired repository. Press "Configure projects". If no repository exists press "Add Repository". Fill all the entries. Press "Add". Then choose this repository.
Choose the project. If no project is defined create one with "Add Project". Fill all the entries. Then press "Add". Then choose this project.
If the project is newly first checkin an existing Siemens S7 1500 TIA project. Choose the packed TIA project file and press "Checkin".
After the newly TIA project now choose "Select CPU from Project". The list will show all CPU configured in this TIA project file.
Press "Create CPU" on the desired CPU. Possibly more settings now need to be configured. Press "Add".
Now the initial version is in GIT, and the CPU is under version control.".

Choose the "Update Online".

On the landing page choose "Checkout".
Choose the agent with the CPU connected, press "List All Repositories".
Choose the project containing the CPU. Press "Checkout".
Press "Select" for the list of versions in PLC‒GIT.
Choose the desired version and press "Select".
Press "Checkout". The TIA project containing all CPUs in this project will be downloaded on youe system.
Open the TIA project in TIA Portal, choose youe CPU in the project, press "Save and Translate", then "Upload Into Device".
